In our second episode, Clark and Clyde talk about a critical aspect of TAB pedagogy: room design. The physical learning environment and it's connection to creative learning experience and developing artistic behaviors are examined in this week's podcast. Check the photo's below for examples of learning centers, pop-up centers and learning provocations


The Art room at Sugar Creek Elementary - Circle Rug meeting area for Kinders and buffet style center arrangement.

The Drawing center. Tools and Paper are located on the left. Supplies are located in drawers. OSMO drawing is located on top of counter.

3D Construction area. Also the Makerspace with access to Sphero's, Makey Makey, Green Screen, Stop-Motion and Sewing

This is the painting area. Tempera bottles and cakes are available. Water Color is accessible in cabinets as well as Print-Making materials. 



A pop-up menu for students to experience the concept of emergence.

Moving the Podcast

I started this podcast with the intention of getting a stand alone website to host the content. Since then, I have learned more than a few things and then some. It just doesn't make sense to me to have the same information available in two places.  I have decided to move the podcast over to Podbean. Blocks Paper Scissors Nothing will change about this podcast other than, we will be able to spend more time making the podcast and not trying to put it everywhere. This blog has been a great start and I hope you will continue to listen to Clyde and I talk about TAB and art education. This will stay up for 30 more days but will not be updated. After that time.
